Our studios are little enclaves in the suburbs – friendly and welcoming places. It’s important to us that, initially, you don’t feel intimidated by all the equipment and principles of Pilates. Then, as you continue with Pilates, to feel part of the studio, to feel valued, and importantly to see that you are progressing. Pilates is about precision, but it is also about movement. Our aim is to get you moving: quickly, safely and with control.

We started Pilates by the Green in the late 90’s, and moved to Hampstead Garden Suburb in 2005.

In 2022 we took on the stewardship of Karen Smith Pilates in Muswell Hill – one of the oldest traditional studios in London. Now rebranded to Muswell Hill Pilates. With lots of love and attention we have made it a busy, vibrant hub. It’s a beautiful studio – a calm place to practice, and it has incredible views of north london.

In Spring 2025 we opened a new, larger studio in East Finchley. It’s next to the prominent classic car showroom, Hexagon Classics. We offer our unique brand of high quality tuition here, but also have a cafe on site, as well as plentiful parking in front.
